This article (particularly ==Training==) is just a little weak on the references. This may be the best we can do at this time, but I'd be happy to see a few more sources if they're available. WhatamIdoing ( talk) 06:20, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
The article is very biased. It should provide information on the role and scope of practice of paramedics in German. Instead of this, the article starts out with explaining the role of the German Notarzt (ambulance physician). The role of the German paramedic is quite closely linked with the development of the voluntary aid organisations like the Red Cross Movement, the St.Johns Ambulance Corps as well as other Volunteer Ambulances Corps and their staff.
Room should be given to the historic development of this profession in particular. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Transmedix ( talk • contribs) 22:01, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Since 2015, the new german paramedic occupation "Notfallsanitäter" is in effect. I added this to the article, taking the opportunity to structure the article in whole, adding some work opportunities and a section about pay. The history section was stripped to a more occupation related history, the general EMS history was added to Emergency_medical_services_in_Germany. Now, I consider this article accurate information up to date. :) Still, some grammar problems may exist... -- 217.87.223.184 ( talk) 11:29, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
I don't like the illustrating picture at the moment. It's not showing a good patient care: both medics sit by the patient and do anything else than paying attention to him. Hope it's just a mock up. :) If someone can provide a better picture, that would be fine! I will try to stage one, but may take a while. -- 84.175.93.231 ( talk) 12:18, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
