Not that they cannot be cited, but their comments in this case are simply irrelevant to the question of interpretation. If you think it belongs in a section concerning whether this section belongs in the Gospel, well, then it might have a place. But then it opens up the discussion to what *everybody* says --- note well that the Jesus Seminar is not well-regarded even by scholars who agree with their conclusions. -- Rekleov 16:25, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Talk about cherry picking - why is a commentary on the Old Testament book of Sirach used to explain Jesus' parable taken from the New Testament gospel of Luke, especially when the sense of it directly contradicts Jesus' own words in the succeeding verse?
