- Give me a couple of days to think about this. The Papyri are not only Egyptian, (though 95 % will be Egyptian).MMcAnnis Mmcannis 01:51, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
To say this list is chronological is misleading, since the order reflects the historical settings of the texts on the papyri, rather than the age of the papyri themselves. For example, P. Westcar was made c.1650 BC, but the tale on it is set in the 4th dynasty.
