European Jaguar → European jaguar – Let's be consistent with the articles for nearly all other pantherine cats and use sentence case for the common name title. WolfmanSF ( talk) 00:20, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi! Looking at this file, is it possible to get pictures of fossils and the reconstitution of this cat? -- 92.142.49.232 ( talk) 16:54, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:American cheetah which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — RMCD bot 06:15, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Both Panthera toscana and Panthera schreuderi seem to have been accepted as junior synonyms of this species- there are no mentions of P. schreuderi in Google Scholar since 2016 that I could find, and none for P. toscana as an independent species (the name seems to be used as a subspecies name by some workers). Since neither of the two synonyms are notable in and of themselves, I propose that they be merged & redirected to P. gombaszoegensis here. -- SilverTiger12 ( talk) 23:47, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
I have redirected those two pages to this one. Unfortunately, I do not have the experience or knowledge to mess with the images.-- SilverTiger12 ( talk) 01:45, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
