Pantaleón ÁlvarezPantaleon Alvarez – As per WP:MOSPHIL, contemporary Philippine names do not use diacritics. The diacritics are also not used in most of, if not all, the references. PatTag2659 ( talk) 10:19, 18 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Support per WP:MOSPHIL and the official Philippine government website ( http://www.congress.gov.ph/members/search.php?id=alvarez-p), and his own Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/speakeralvarez). Academicoffee71 ( talk) 03:24, 19 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Support. WP:MOSPHIL does indeed recommend not using diacritics in current Philippine names. There seems no reason to depart from this here. Andrewa ( talk) 16:45, 25 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Nickname

Is it really crucial to include the nickname. There's an edit war ongoing for a while. Changing the subject's name to either "Panty" or "Bebot". Both of which appears to be a valid nickname referring to the subject.

I honestly thought "Bebot" was a vandalism, but it appears that "Bebot" is the more recent preferred nickname by the subject as per the PNA and the subjects Instagram account as pointed out by Mcbirdieboy

I suggest just ommiting the nickname altogether. Hariboneagle927 ( talk) 11:35, 4 July 2021 (UTC) reply
