I understand the name of this town is pronounced "PAL-es-teen" by the locals. I'd like to see this fact added to the article, but I'm not prepared to do it unless I can cite a reliable source to back it up. I've found a few comments about the pronunciation on the web, but none (so far) of the sort we prefer to use on Wikipedia. Richwales ( talk · contribs) 05:45, 3 September 2011 (UTC) reply
