All the Danish sources I checked seem to refer to it as just "Palace Hotel". English-language sources are scarce;
Radio Times calls it "the historic Palace Hotel". I don't think it's quite that obvious that this was a grammar error; compare
Trump Tower or
Tower Bridge.
