Who was his "Kaiser?"

Otto Jäger was a member of the armed forces of Austria-Hungary, not Germany, and the Order of the Iron Crown was an Austro-Hungarian order, not a German order. Since he died in 1917 his "kaiser" would have been Karl I. 2603:800C:3944:BC00:19B6:1D5E:415E:5017 ( talk) 03:41, 6 February 2022 (UTC) reply
