I'm contesting the deletion of the Orianthi page mainly because she was the new lead guitar player for Michael Jackson. Despite what the automated Wikipedia scripts my say, This should automatically imply her significance to the music industry and justify her own spot here.
She has also received a very powerful endorsement by Carlos Santana that can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwgnfUYFxuM
There have been a few reversions over the recent past due to a disagreement regarding the mention of the ancestral origins of Orianthi. In line with other articles such as Albert Einstein, Hendrik Wade Bode, Arnold Schwarzenneger etc. I think that we should include the origins of the artist in the lede, irrespective of the fact that her name may or may not be recognisable as Greek. In the sidebar under 'associated acts' the name "Steve Vai' is presented, despite the article never indicating any association with Vai. Also the article says she worked with Prince, yet he is not listed under Associated Acts.

Hey guys – in light of the recent edit to he discography section, is it possible that we consider moving all of this extra information into a separate article, titled Orianthi discography? Most other solo artists would no doubt have theirs done like this, and that would just leave the discography section for this article listing the three studio albums, as is necessary. Just thought I'd put it out there and see what you guys thought. Thanks – 4TheWynne (talk) (contribs) 12:54, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
Seven genres in the box is about five too many. Which are two (or one or three) that best represent her work? Vox Sciurorum ( talk) 20:53, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

In the awards and nominations area, it shows for 2009 as she Won and Elle 12 best female guitarist. But that is a listicle article. I can see it as a good source for relevance, and I think it´s ok to be referenced in the article, but I´m not sure if there is an actual Award being given. I did not want to remove it before discussing it, just in case I´m missing something. Pazguillermo ( talk) 15:32, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Orianthi is among the artists on Mark Knopfler's Guitar Heroes version of "Going Home," a 2024 benefit for Teen Cancer USA and Teen Cancer Trust. 2600:1702:3F30:3750:3964:1BB0:6823:41E ( talk) 13:58, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
