Changed Alexandra Kollontai's rank to Band, based on the description in the preceding section. I wasn't able to find a reference that specified it directly though. However, "Soviet Politician" is not a rank of the Order of the Aztec Eagle, so I think this is better. Leushenko ( talk) 19:31, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
What is Sash? Is it a rank? It is not listed in the rank section. yayay ( talk) 20:06, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Could someone help to give the references of Placido Domingo a correct format, please? Many thanks. -- Karljoos ( talk) 19:12, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
There is a great new book about this order. The title is "La Orden Mexicana del Aguila Azteca. Apuntes para su Historia" by mexican diplomat David A. Olvera Ayes, an expert in the subject. The book has a prologue by the Mexican President. I bought mine through ebay — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.228.119 ( talk) 02:41, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
While the main image on the illustration above the Infobox is of the collar of the Aztec Eagle Order, I notice also can be seen a Grand Cross star of the Order of the British Empire (see also illustration in that order's article), with the medallion profiles of King George V and Queen Mary and the red circle on which For God and The Empire Motto is inscribed. Readers may be misled into thinking this is part of the insignia of the Aztec Eagle Order - suggest you find a picture without the star in or try to crop it.
