Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on
Order of Isabella the Catholic. Please take a moment to review
my edit. If necessary, add {{
cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{

to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Why do the postnominal letters associated with the Order of Isabella the Catholic use "YC" when Isabella is spelled with an "I" in both English and Spanish? For example, former President Ernesto Zedillo of Mexico uses "CYC" for Knight of the Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. The first "C" stands for "Collar," the second "C" stands for "Catholic" or "Católica," but what does the "Y" stand for? There is no "Y" in "Isabella" or "Isabel" or even in "Elizabeth." It would only make sense to me if "Isabel" or "Isabella" were spelled "Ysabel" or "Ysabella." 66.91.36.8 ( talk) 04:04, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
How many people have received this award? I think it would be worth noting some who have been honored in this way, such as Samuel Morse. Pete unseth ( talk) 16:58, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
