Category:Open data, and more people might create more articles. Do either of you have suggestions for a general pattern for all types of data?

Bluerasberry: It's an excellent question. Personally I would favor this pattern "open" + domain name + "data", as it's less ambiguous (here, it could be also understood as data about open science). It also highlights better the specific cultures of the data: it's not a just a generic piece of data but the product of scientific work, business structures, government agencies…
