As of late, there has been far greater interest in the semantics regarding the party's ideological classification than I would have expected. The Libertarian Party of Ontario is a right-wing political entity, promoting property rights, a partially-private health care system, emphasis on personal choice and parental supremacy in education, and a general reduction in the size of government (see the party's platform for more details). This is undoubtedly right-libertarianism. There is nothing left-libertarian about this political party. I've presented the following citations ( [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]) as evidence of the party's right-wing philosophy. None of these articles use the specific words "right-wing" or "right-libertarian", as the party labours under the assumption that it operates 'outside the political spectrum'. This is, categorically, an attempt to build a counter-narrative around a traditional political party that maintains an already-established political philosophy.
So I pose the question to the community: what do we do about this? Is there consensus that the party is above classification in any respect? Is the broad moniker ' libertarian' acceptable when that term may not capture the particular economic affinities of the party's membership and candidates? Is there any other available citation that will finally put this frustrating question to rest?

There seems to be quite a bit of editing activity surrounding the party's executive. Is this section strictly relevant. Most other parties do not have such a section and, at the very least, don't list members-at-large and other small positions. Thoughts on this? HamOntPoliFiend ( talk) 02:41, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
