Can anyone help me out with the format I should write for the September 7, 210 release. Syedwaheedhussain ( talk) 16:19, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
It was released today for US radio stations. Just turn on the radio and you can listen it. -- 189.31.38.170 ( talk) 22:54, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Note that this article is completely locked from editing. If you feel that the song is notable please create the article in a WP:SANDBOX then notify people on this talk page and an administrator will review the request to decide if the article is now notable. It was protected because a previous WP:CONSENSUS decided that there was not enough detailed information from WP:RELIABLE sourced to warrant a seperate article. If you are unsure of what this means please ask me personally. (note I am not an administrator) -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 00:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I think I can reviatalizar page, remove the redirect, the article already contains sources and faithful cover. *Fr@Πkl!nG* ( talk) 02:15, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Dont worry *Fr@Πkl!nG*..the page will soon be recreated. I am already workin on it. And (CK)Lakeshade this song is going to be released as a digital download on September 21,2010 and will soon chart on hot 100. Syedwaheedhussain ( talk) 11:50, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Let's please come to a consensus on genres here so there is no further back-and-forth. The general feeling seems to be that dance-pop and eurodance apply, and both are sourced. As some reviewers may categorize it by using the broad term "dance" or "dance music", I believe we should go with more specific genres: e.g. just reading the Wikipedia article on Dance music shows it covers a huge range of music, and one of the sub-categories listed under "2010s" is Dance-pop. Dance by itself leads to the act of dancing - obviously not the same thing. - eo ( talk) 21:01, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Now, i have explained in detail the genres. Unless a new source states the song is a different genre like R&B, it is not to be added. The genres currently listed are not to be removed, doing so will be considered disruptive, so dont remove them, please and thank you. Unless there are further comments i think we should close this discussion. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 07:47, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry but there's a bit of over synthesis going on. When words like influences and like are used it changes the meaning. the Song is primarily Europop and dance-pop hence those genres should be left. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 13:58, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Europop with dance beats does not equal Eurodance, as the latter is actually an extremely specific type of music. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 23:04, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Who agrees this song also falls under the genre Electropop? Many artists, including those who are not really associated with the electronic dance music genre released Electropop songs since its popularity rose in late 2008.. artists like Lady Gaga, Kesha, Heidi Montag, La Roux, Enrique Iglesias, Mike Posner, The Saturdays, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, even artists like Usher, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown (check out his latest single " Yeah 3x") - Hiddenstranger ( talk) 22:24, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
I have added thr rest of the countries where the digital download released on 13th. I looked on the Pop Songs reference and Only Girl is not on there. So it needs to be removed! Iluvrihanna24 ( talk) 19:43, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
The registered writers of the song are: Crystal Johnson, Tor Hermansen, Mikkel Eriksen, Sandy Wilhelm. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.75.38.36 ( talk) 20:43, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
A Billboard news article is up about the decreased second week sales (161,000), and declines in position on both the Hot 100 and the Hot Digital Songs for this week's charts. Don't know if it's worth mentioning or not in this article. Maybe not. Yvesnimmo ( talk) 05:05, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
The song debuted at No. 26 on that chart, so please add that information source! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.216.165.81 ( talk) 15:06, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
The charts section on this page says it's #3, but the discography page says #1. Plus, the Chart Performance section says it's her 6th #1 to debut on hot 100 and 8th overall, but it debuted at 75 and climbed to 3, so someone isn't checking what is written. calvin999 ( talk) 15:22, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Regarding this edit: I realize that "hot guy" may not be the correct lyric, but Rolling Stone is a generally reliable publication and any "gender bending" analysis is certainly of note. Are there reliable sources that say the lyric is something else that can be used as a footnote? Or is there an official source that provides the song lyrics? (I know Google Play has lyrics for certain songs, and sometimes the lyrics on Genius.com are verified by performers/songwriters.) Here's what I'm thinking:
– Chase ( talk / contribs) 21:20, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
What does this mean? "Entertainment Weekly writer Tanner Stransky the video positively, commenting on the video's simplistic theme, noting it makes it seem "as if Rihanna is speaking directly to you, the viewer, and she is your one and only amid swallowing rolling, beautiful, swallowing landscapes." Is there a word or two missing? Graham Beards ( talk) 14:02, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
I can see in the history and recent edits that there have been some disagreements between anonymous editors on the genre that this song falls under. From my personal knowledge, I would be inclined to indicate the genre as Dance, however others may have other information contributing to the idea of indicating it as Europop. This disagreement needs to be sorted now. – JustAnIng ( Talk) 14:38, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
