In fact, Oni is the general Japanese word for demon. It does not refer to "a particularly destrictive demon." See Oni_(Japanese_folklore)

Walk into just about any comic shop in North America. You will find a wide selection of high-quality graphic novels from this publisher. If you question the notability of Oni Press, you must buy your comics from the magazine rack at Wal-Mart. Jr78 22:21, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
OniPress, is the home of projects from very noteworthy individuals including Filmaker, Kevin Smith as well as TV personality Stephen Colbert, and novelist Greg Rucka.
