I'm increasing the importance rating for this article from "Mid" to "High" due to the UNESCO World Heritage classification. -- llywrch 20:01, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Under the heading "Human Impact", a sentence begins " Fossils belonging to the genera Australopithecine and Homo ..." Australopithecine should read Australopithecus. I didn't change this because I didn't know how to revise the link. Mathyeti ( talk) 22:43, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Omo River (Ethiopia) → Omo River – The Ethiopian river is clearly the main topic per WP:Primary topic and the fact that the river is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The article has been moved to the current disambiguated title when a new article on a river in Quebec was created in December 2017. - Darwinek ( talk) 19:28, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
Wikipedia should not give credit to some one who christines a river that is full of history with his own name after visiting it. This is a sickening attitude. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.71.6.201 ( talk) 09:38, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
