Let the record state that Bibbins was fleeing police on city streets at high speed, placing law-abiding citizens at severe risk. Bibbin's conduct while driving in such an uncivil manner, with no regard for the safety of others, surely affedted how an officer would respond after Bibbins crashed into a fence and the officers pursuing were able to approach him. Here in Omaha, it seems that some groups are quick to shout "racism," seeing that trait in something as innocious as a loaf of white bread. 68.13.191.153 16:00, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
This article is completely devoid of citations, particularly for charged events that can easily be construed as POV. Please add citations. – Freechild ( ¡!¡!¡!¡) 17:50, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Why is this article separated from Omaha Nebraska? It is good that it is in that it is so bad an article that it could only detract from the main Omaha article. And who changed the motto to "To sizzle and pop?" Undoubtedly one of my Omaha neighbors. Behave yourselves, children! In my opinion as a Wikipedian (rather than as an Omahan) this article should be taken down, it is, except for a few factual sentences, nothing but a tirade against the police department. Omahapolice ( talk · contribs), in this 2015 edit, removed a substantial section on misconduct. I have not restored this material because it was not cited, but I welcome anyone who wants to take the time to find citations for that material to replace it. Also note that this is a clear WP:COI problem that I do not believe had been adequately addressed at this time. - Apocheir ( talk) 00:38, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
