I think that Fedtschenko is the German transliteration of her Cyrillic name, whereas Fedchenko is the English (see here). I'm guessing Rosa fedtschenkoana uses the German form because the German botanist Eduard August von Regel is the authority for that species. PaleCloudedWhite ( talk) 15:52, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks @ PaleCloudedWhite: - do you know how to switch it back? I notice that her son uses the German version Victuallers ( talk) 15:55, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
I boldly removed "or O.Fedtsch.; Olga Alexandrovna Fedtchenko" from the lede, as they seem useless. — Tamfang ( talk) 19:22, 11 November 2015 (UTC) Thats OK - the stuff coimes from wikidata Victuallers ( talk) 17:43, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
"Boris Fedtschenko's book 'Flora Turkmenistan' (1932)"... is this referring to Растительность Туркестана (1915)? Then the date is obviously wrong... 86.83.56.115 ( talk) 00:27, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
Looked at the book: 1915 is indeed the correct date for this publication. But the IPNI also has this 1932 date... Still something is off, he didn't publish anything about Turkestan in 1932... I'll just delete the date. 86.83.56.115 ( talk) 00:49, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
