The nederlands interwiki leads to a disambiguation page, differentiating between old world and new world porcupines. the Old World Porcupine article wasn't created there yet.
I'm removing the interwiki link.

"Old World". seriously. Would you say that for a hedgehog. I'd recommend using the Italian name, estrice. Old world is so shit.
Are we sure the animal in the taxobox is really Athererus and not Hystrix? -- Aranae 05:04, July 18, 2005 (UTC)
I can't find any species authority on Trichys macrotis. With the exception of Wikipedia and info harvest websites there is no evidence of this binomial even existing, and the species is not included in MacDonald's 2006 Encyclopedia of Mammals. I am removing it until a citation is added. -- EllisD 02:51, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
