This article is written in Canadian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, centre, travelled, realize, analyze) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this subject is simply most certainly notable, as per sources: Kelowna Capital News, Kelowna Capital News, Kelowna Daily Courier, Castanet. I can't think of any reason why this is not notable, and for a speedy deletion tag to be placed on it is riduclous; it should have at least been put through articles for deletion. A7 is for subjects that are just from random people, not this stuff. I can expand the article further to prove notability to some certain people, even though the consensus is already clear.
