is there a geometric definition on this curve's construction? i.e. how did the artisans construct the ogee shape? Xah Lee 10:31, 2005 Mar 17 (UTC)
Is Ogee short for something? i.e. is there a full Latin name

Can this be cited? I'm very skeptical. 65.96.201.130 ( talk) 14:17, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
I would think an ogee is a cyma recta not a reversa. Or can ogee be used for both? See [1] for ogee as cyma recta. Notum-sit ( talk) 08:31, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
The photos are good illustrations but do not clearly identify which elements are of the shape being discussed. A diagram in which the shape is isolated would be helpful. Jim ( talk) 15:48, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Added an image from the molding page. Does that work? -- 76.98.88.59 ( talk) 02:54, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
The picture of the clock doesn't seem to contain any Ogee curves (unless you count the beehive), and the title is definitely incorrect: the moulding of the clock is square bevelled, not Ogee. 122.176.243.137 ( talk) 17:11, 15 September 2010 (UTC) Raj Mathur
Should not the concept of an arch be indexed off this page?
