High School Prom Incident
@
Yankees10: Can you explain why you
removed information about the incident at Autauga Acamey involving OJ Howard? Your edit summary indicates that you questioned the reliability of the sources, but there multiple newspaper articles that give accounts of the incident
[1][2]. You also questioned the notability of the incident, but I think
WP:NOTEWORTHY applies.

Hey man im josh: I'm trying to understand why you are removing references to this incident as irrelevant. Wikipedia articles summarize reliable sources. Multiple reliable sources have given great weight to the high school prom incident, so the content belongs in the article. — BillHPike (

Hey @
BillHPike, just because there are reliable sources on something does not mean that it's relevant to include to an article. Given that it's 1 sentence, with no follow up, I don't see how including it improves the article. To be clear, I'd likely feel different if there was further writing on what happened as fall out with the incident and whether anything occurs as a result.

I feel that a more thorough discussion of how the incident changed Autauga Academy would be a
WP:COATRACK. The incident is highly relevant to O.J. Howard, but the subsequent changes at the school at only moderately relevant. See
WP:Relevance. I'm going to be offline for a bit, but I will try to draft alternative language that addresses your concerns. — BillHPike (

To try and avoid edit warring, I'd like to make my case for indicating that O.J. Howard should be considered an "offseason only" member of the Buffalo Bills. He was signed on March 16
[3] after the start of offseason free agency. He played in the 3 preseason games for the Bills, but was released on August 30
[4] as part of the final cuts. He was never a member of the Buffalo Bills during the regular season, so he should be considered an offseason member only, and a star should be placed by the team in the player's infobox.
