Could you perhaps provide more information on the original recording?

Is there no cover for the La India version?
I couldn't find any. I'll have another look, but there's no guarantees since the song is old.
I saw in the Edit history, that one of the summaries say "La India cover"

Can any more information be found, perhaps India's thoughts?
Not really, since it's one of the songs she covers Dicen Que Soy. It was Sergio Geroge, the producer of the album, who had the input on the song selection. I suppose another look wouldn't hurt though.
I know how hard it can be with really old songs, it's alright,
Reception
On the Billboard Latin Pop Songs chart, the song debuted number fifteen on the week of November 5, 1994 and peaked at number thirteen a week later. --> On the Billboard Latin Pop Songs chart, the song debuted at number fifteen on the week of November 5, 1994 and peaked at number thirteen a week later.
FN20: This is the link to India's Dicen Que Soy Allmusic page not 24 Hour Woman soundtrack, meaning there is now no ref to support the song being included on the soundtrack.
