According to Transport Canada, its official name is "Northwest Regional Airport". As there is an airport in the US with the same name that name could not be used for the article (see the disambig page
Northwest Regional Airport). There are a couple reasons to go with the city names in parentheses. One, it makes it clearer that the city names are not part of the airport's name, unlike some of the other alternatives. Second, it follows the same format as the other airport with this name, which provides consistency in naming the articles.
