I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Northern Woods and Water Route's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Please be careful with your reviews. I see some major problems with this article. Per WP:MOS the heading should be "Travel route" not "Travel Route". Secondly, the uber-long paragraph in "History" needs to be split up. I'm not sure a "Further reading" section is appropritate. Also, transclude the review page in the talk page. -- Rschen7754 ( T C) 22:44, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

According to the official NWWR website, there is a discrepancy between the route mapped out and the one described on the Wikipedia page. Notable differences are:
Alberta
The Official Alberta Road Map confirms the above mentioned routing.
Manitoba
The Official Manitoba Road Map confirm the above mentioned routing.

It seems to me part of this alternate route is listed backwards. It says:
{{MBint |location_special=near [[Winnipegosis]] |km=1973.6 |road={{jct|state=MB|PR|269|dir1=west|city1=Ethelbert}} |notes=Alternate route via PR 269 west }}
Shouldn't it really say the following?
{{MBint |location_special=near [[Ethelbert, Manitoba|Ethelbert]] |km=1973.6 |road={{jct|state=MB|PR|269|dir1=east|city1=Fork River}} |notes=Alternate route via PR 269 east }}
