Did the Vietnamese Democratic Republic officially recognize language rights for the Thai and Chinese minorities? Because why do those languages appear on the Vietnamese currency in 1945? Le Anh-Huy ( talk) 08:48, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
OK, thanks, you two, for the clarification. However, I assumed it was Thai because this was the currency of the DRV ('45-'76), and thought that the writing was from the Thai/Tai/Tay minorities in the northwest. Le Anh-Huy 15:33, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
