Oppose: There is no confusion between disused and open stations on Google Maps; the latter carry the British Rail logo, and the former (and some technically-open-but-not-really) do not. Sceptre(

Strongly oppose There is no general confusion. There would be hundreds of station articles to rename for a consistent approach and since readers might not be sure of the status of the stations of their searches there would have to be hundreds of redirects. Resuscitated stations or names re-used at other sites would add to the chaos.--

Oppose - most other closed stations are named as opened ones and with the article stating it is closed, this should be enough to distinguish between stations.

Oppose The business of google maps, or any other non-wiki project, is of no relevance to wikipedia. There is no indication that there is currently a possible situation of ambiguity vis-a-vis another wikipedia article. The qualifier is necessary. --
