There were three Norman MacLeods (1745-1824) Norman MacLeod Caraid nan Gaidheal (1783-1862) Norman MacLeod (Barony and author of 'Courage, brother do not stumble' 1812-72)
The last two seem to have been mixed up and the two articles, rather than merging, need clarifying with material being checked as to which Norman MacLeod it relates to. I'm afraid that I know too little about the topic to undertake these myself; but I'd like to call the attention of more qualified editors to some areas in which the article could be improved.
I'm sorry to be binding up heavy loads for others to carry, but this is a situation that calls for an editor who knows something about the subject—not someone who's coming to Macleod by way of Good Words by way of Anthony Trollope...
