Norman Lloyd (actor) →
Norman Lloyd – I propose the bold move of this article be undone. The actor clearly has higher significance over the relatively unremarkable others.

Question. Why is there no mention of his politics? Its well known he was a target of the anti-communist witch hunts of the 50s, and became blacklisted. Was he a communist? Many were and proud of it, i.e Charlie Chapman, Lucile Ball, etc. Some reference to his actual political beliefs would seem to be an area of interest given his persecution over alleged political beliefs.

I can find no reference to his having died other than in this article. He is not listed under "Deaths in 2019." Is this for real? Kostaki mou ( talk) 20:22, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
No. It's a vandal making stuff up for no reason. Crboyer ( talk) 20:57, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
He's known to have been an occasional panelist on the Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour game show, a fact which is easily verifiable, but it's not listed in his television credits. Is there another reason for this? 2601:405:4000:1F50:81CB:EAC0:31B:6223 ( talk) 20:52, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
Self-explanatory. This has happened so many times in the last months; it's been going back and forth, with contributors adding it without cites or saying "He's retired" in the edit summary without corroboration. A message to other contributors. You need to provide a reason when you change the years active. You need to cite a source. Stop changing it. The brave celery ( talk) 23:17, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
Well.. Surprise, Surprise! Another Hollywood celebrity death, another death date discussion...! Deadline says Lloyd passed away in his sleep on May 10, which is Monday. Variety and Hollywood Reporter, on the other hand, says Lloyd died Tuesday, which is May 11. So who do we believe, or should we toss a coin...?

When I hover over the wikilink to this article, I don't get the actual lead, but just a pair of right braces--try it and see if you get the same result: Norman Lloyd. I've tried this on two different articles that link here and get the same result both places. But I can't find any errors in the coding of the introduction that would cause this problem. Help? Thanks, Aristophanes68 (talk) 03:23, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
