The equations as presented on this page make no sense. The Gaussian weighting function, for instance, is:
but the should apply to the difference, not to each term. Also, B(p) can't be the average value surrounding the pixel! In NLM, you want co compare each pixel of the patch (reference position) to each pixel of patches in the neighborhood, and use their difference as a distance between the patches. The equations presented here do not match the ones of the paper and maybe these should be use directly rather than being rewritten incorrectly.
