It's technically an oversimplification since Argentinian owl monkeys, A. a. azarae, are cathemeral (active both day and night). http://pin.primate.wisc.edu/factsheets/entry/owl_monkey Jcblackmon ( talk) 00:46, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm going to update the taxobox on Insulacebus to have the genus be in family Aotidae. I plan to also update this page to have a small amount of info on that species. Should be similar to the info at titi or Cebidae, as a couple of examples. - UtherSRG (talk) 23:29, 11 September 2022 (UTC)
Please see the discussion at Talk:List_of_fossil_primates_of_South_America#Taxonomy. Thanks! - UtherSRG (talk) 20:22, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
