Surely she can't still be a member of the Regional Council if she is a Member of Parliament now, can she? This paragraph appears to be left over from the first version of this article, when Nicky wasn't a MP yet. A phrase with the word "currently" is not suitable for an encyclopedia in the first place, because it automatically outdates. Instead, it should say something "As of October 2004" (or whatever date is appropriate).
