In June 2019, the section regarding the allegations of sexual misconduct by AlSayyad was removed by @Pejiedita. No comment was made for the reason for the removal. The allegations appeared well-sourced including articles from the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. The UC Berkeley student newspaper, the Daily Cal, also published a story on the subject.
I cannot speak to whether the allegations are true, but they definitely made major news and will invariably shape his legacy. To just remove any mention of them without explanation or discussion feels very wrong. I am not experienced enough with Wikipedia editing to know the best course of action here. However, I am happy to work with others to craft a complete, unbiased article. 73.240.52.187 ( talk) 20:02, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Nearly the entire article has been written by User:Pejiedita. Looking at all Pejiedita's contributions, it's extremely clear that this account belongs to either AlSayyad or someone close to him. Pejiedita has only ever edited this article and, as is noted above, removed the entire sexual assault allegations section from the article with no explanation. The article needs to be entirely rewritten, possibly even deleted. Gbrkk ( talk) 00:38, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
