• Route 172 had a major upgrade during the reconstruction of NJ 18, including a roundabout at an intersection with Middlesex County Route 617, and a brand-new interchange and bridge with NJ 18.
  • Perhaps maybe replace "Had a major upgrade" with "underwent a major upgrade"
