The source claiming Nea smirni to be the warmest area in Europe is not reliable as it is an article written in an amateur online weather community. Such a claim here would constitute original research as it's made purely on personal observasions of avg annual temperatures, thus it's better be avoided and removed until at least we have more reliable data from this station as its time series expands or until an official source makes a relevant comparison.
