We are quite certain that Indian nationalism did not begin with the arrival of Gandhi but a long time before that. This will be more than adequately demonstrated by most if not all works of history on India or the Indian independence movement. I have tagged this article, and will re-edit the article as soon as I am finished with the projects I am currently working on.
This article appears to list and describe some (or most) of the post-1920s independence movement in India, and does not really address the nationalist movement, origins, effect, philosophies or anything. In addition to the factual inaccuracy I have outlined above, I am not sure there is any reason to have this article as a separate entity when Indian Nationalism already exists. I am proposing a merger. rueben_lys ( talk · contribs) 22:22, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Can somebody explain what the first line of the second paragraph is supposed to mean? I though of removing it but then wondered if I'm ignorant of something, so decided to just leave it here, it syas: "vjv, Nizamiyat, the local nawabs of Oudh and Bengal and other smaller powers." •nix• 14:55, 27 July 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by I.narinder ( talk • contribs)
