This is a bit of a rough one, the relevent guideline is here: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (long lists). As far as I can tell, the best name would be List of Registered Historic Places in Kentucky by county: A-E. I did some looking around and other states and it's all over the place. Some keep it as one big list, or break it up down to a seperate list for every county. Texas, Missouri, Virginia and others use the format you suggest.

So just for consistancy, we should probably do as you suggest. I suggest we hold off on renaming for a few days though, to gather a few more opinions hopefully. -- W.marsh 01:36, 6 May 2006 (UTC) reply

When listed by the National Register of Historic Places, it was in its original location near Eriline; but in Dec 1994 the rock detached and crashed down onto Highway 66. Two days later it was moved to Manchester, where it is now under a shed in a park about 200 yards from City Hall and where I saw and photographed it last month.
