This [1] Sports Illustrated article includes a lot of information about his name, original name (Naim Suleimanov), and why he defected from Bulgaria to Turkey, which he said was over the Bulgarian government forcing him to change his name and the oppression of Turks in Bulgaria. It also includes a lot of other great information that should be added to his bio. I will try to update and include this information on the live page as time goes on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Countdsb ( talk • contribs) 16:04, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

I modified the paragraph on how he ran for office in Buyukcekmece. The Istanbul link led to the city's wiki, rather than the wiki of Istanbul province. This made it sound like Buyukcekmece was a neighborhood, whereas in reality I'm pretty sure it is the type of district that resembles an American county. If my edits are wrong, revert them.-- {{SUBST:User:Coryma}} 22:42, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
