There are a number of sources that say that Nina Macpherson Cummings studied at Slade and the Royal College of Art under Walter Crane, one of which is this JSTOR article. The article says that the family moved to London so that she could attend art school, but I cannot find any evidence of a painting, exhibition, artist friends who knew her at school, sources that describe her education under Crane, etc... all of which seem to support Nigel Strudwick's claim in this biography for Brown University, that the school's did not have a record for her. It also says that her father's obituary mentioned that she attended Slade and RCA. Very confusing that there's no evidence of her artwork that I can find, since she was about 26 years of age when she married.
I'm trying to track this down from the U.S. Perhaps I'm missing some sources that might help ferret this out. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks!-- CaroleHenson (talk) 23:58, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
