Hi. I followed a link to this page and one word struck me quite quickly: reverential. Reading through the article, with phrases like "Ja'far al-Sadiq happily and merrily got up to see his wife Hamidah," "Musa al-Kadhim had a lean and thin body but a very strong and powerful soul", "The rude and impudent man who had been taking liberties with Musa al-Kadhim for a long time, and did not expect such a thing, was very much ashamed... ...He repaid evils with goodness and virtue. So that he put his enemies to shame... ...Musa al-Kadhim used to show love and warm feeling to his relative...", and filled with adulatory anecdotes which lack reliable sourcing, one could be forgiven for mistaking the article for a religious devotional tract. There are fundamental errors with the neutrality and reliable verification of information on this page. ITAQALLAH 18:56, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Not only is it tantamount to a polemical Twelver tract, we also need a better picture. I believe Musa Kazim was half-black... ناهد/(Nåhed) _speak! 02:10, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Indeed, Musa al-Kaazim was half-black. His mother was an enslaved "zanjiyyah" ("black") that Ja'far purchased then emancipated and subsequently married and trained as a scholar at her behest. We should work on a better illo... Ogress _smash! 08:10, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate the work that people have put into this article recently. However, if the article is to ever attain a GA status, then the large number of anecdotes need to be replaced, or expanded, with analysis of those anecdotes. I am aware that this is a culturally constructed obligation that Wikipedia imposes; nonetheless, by Wikipedia's current standards, a lot of the language is not terribly useful. Festival of Imam Musa al-Kadhim into Musa al-Kadhim (this article). There are no sources and hardly anything else in the former article. We had a bit of a discussion on Talk:Festival of Imam Musa al-Kadhim; merging seems like a good option. - HyperGaruda ( talk) 16:35, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

because of white complexion of the revered seventh Imam ; her mother could not be a berber; there where at the same time slaving daughters in the british isles and carrying them to maghreb; there fore she could be either a Brits or Spanish; the same for the mother of revered eigth Imam; that was also a slave from Maghreb ; that there was mentioned a talk from christian woman saying something about the future of mother of imam at time there were in baghdad; this could be a clue that she was also Brits.But these are just pure speculation;Not based on the history.
