It seems to me that the title of the page should be the museum's official name, Musée national du Moyen Age, with its old but still popular name of Cluny given as the secondary name. Was there any particular reason why the present set-up was chosen, redirecting from the correct name to the popular one? Awien ( talk) 11:31, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
I am not sure I understand what was moved by @ Brookie: in the page move; I could not see any change or understand what happened. Anybody? FULBERT ( talk) 16:29, 7 October 2017 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved per request. Favonian ( talk) 08:40, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
Musée de Cluny – Musée national du Moyen Âge → Musée de Cluny – Restore original, shorter title. Article was moved here due to a good-faith but misguided appeal to this being the " official name", but there's no need for the subtitle; there's only one Musée de Cluny, and the museum is unsurprisingly referred to as just this routinely (English language reliable source examples that omit the subtitle entirely: [1], [2], [3]). The French Wikipedia article is just at fr:Musée de Cluny as well. SnowFire ( talk) 08:38, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
