Half this article is currently about the trial of Wang Yam for the suspicion of murder of Allan Chappelow. Should this be moved to a new article for Wang Yam? Martin451 ( talk) 14:56, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Mr Chappelow was last known to be alive on the 8th May 2006 when he telephoned the inland revenue. His body was found on the 14th June. It is estimated that he died between the 15th and 23rd May Martin451 ( talk) 02:13, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved. Moved without consensus, as an uncontested technical request. Any objection within a reasonable time frame should result in the move being reverted. ( closed by non-admin page mover) BilledMammal ( talk) 20:46, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Allan Chappelow → Murder of Allan Chappelow – I believe WP:1E applies here. I see no indication that Chappelow's life and work was particularly noteworthy before he was murdered, particularly since all the sources about the details of his life are ones relating to the murder case. Furthermore, the majority of the article is about the trial and conviction of Wang Yam for allegedly murdering Chappelow and the censoring of media reporting of the trial on national security grounds. Therefore it is clear that this page is focused more on the murder than on Chappelow himself, as that is the only part that is especially noteworthy. Tulzscha ( talk) 17:12, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
