The Kindness of Strangers, the title of which is presumably a play on the early Bad Seeds song "Stranger than Kindness"... - more likely both are references to the famous last line of A Streetcar Named Desire: "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers", which Cave would certainly have been aware of. The article states a death count of 64. I believe the correct number is 65, broken down like this:
This comes to a sum total of 65 (+ 1 poor dog). Unless anyone objects to this I will change it.
