Notability rationale

I believe M+P are notable under the following criteria of WP:MUSIC:

  • "[The group] has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable." - I've linked two articles from major Australian newspapers dealing solely with M+P, and am trying to find more.
  • "[The group h]as released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)." - M+P have released two albums on Obese, which is almost certainly the best-known hiphop label in Australia and has on its roster Pegz and Hilltop Hoods, both of which are notable.

Plutonic Lab

There have been many articles referring to Plutonic Lab's production work on others' albums, which have linked to the Muph & Plutonic article even though they have nothing to to with Muph. I have created a new article for Plutonic Lab (which currently redirects to Muph & Plutonic) and replaced the relevant links. I propose that the section on Plutonic Lab be expanded into a separate article there, which can go into more detail about his work on production, as well as his latest venture with G.Love, "Moonshine Lemonade".

Any objections? sroc ( talk) 10:53, 2 January 2011 (UTC) reply

I'm working up some extended information in a soapbox at Muph & Plutonic/Plutonic Lab. sroc ( talk) 12:19, 3 January 2011 (UTC) reply
