Wire wheels:
Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article:
Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection.
Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
This article (for now) shows only US and UK details, therefore I'm Globalize tagging it accordingly. My last tagging was reverted because I didn't comment it here, so I'm doing it now: Just because this article is incomplete, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be tagged as geographically imbalanced! Until someone expands it, the article will be of very little value to someone who'd need to find out about millions of people (say in Italy or India) who motorcycle-commute on a daily basis. --
