The Transmission section doesn't seem to make any sense or is in the wrong article.
"West Nile virus" sure doesn't deserve headline star billing adjacent to other diseases which are magnitudes more lethal and prevalent! This smacks of western imperialism, where little dark people do not matter compared to first world inhabitants.
