What is the history of the name of Morristown Medical Center? Most recently, it changed from Morristown Memorial Hospital to Morristown Medical Center. The rationale for this, as I understand it, is that the "hospital" had evolved so much, and was no longer just a "hospital since it was composed of several "hospitals" i.e. the children's hospital, the orthopedic hospital, the cardiac hospital, etc. that the title Medical Center more truly reflected this new reality. My question is when it was Morristown Memorial Hospital, what was it a "Memorial" to or of? Mr. Dennis John Crowley — Preceding
