The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Should
Estádio do Jamor be considered a possible venue for Portugal? With 37,500 seats, it wouldn't take much to make it reach the 40,000 seat cut, though my understanding is its facilities are a bit lacking. --

Correct and I don't get why someone removed the article in which the Portuguese prime minister confirmed that Ukraine is still part of the bid.

So I Didn't Remove it but I can Get why they did. Unless you have a good Source to Confirm Ukraine is Still in. It Should Stay Removed. (Please Note This: Do not use The "Morocco World News" As A Source Due to it Being Extremely Biased Towards Its Football. If you want Examples Please Tell me.)

I don't know what "Being extremely biased towards its football" has anything to do with Ukraine being in the bid, apparently it references L'Equipe which says Ukraine is still in. And most articles that say "Morocco replaced Ukraine" are speculating like CNN for example, "Morocco apparently replaced Ukraine", but there's other information (as mentioned above by
WhatGuy) that says they are still in. Unless there is some official statement from Ukraine or one of the federations, I think it's best to just add them [2]68.189.2.14 (

While Your Points Are Valid. (And I Take Blame for Saying "Biased for it's Football." I meant that Morocco World News was "Extremely Biased to It's Own Country. Especially When it comes to Soccer/Futbol.) I Do Have My Points.
1. I Never Stated that Ukraine Was Removed. I didn't Remove it. I merely said it does make sense. And I Didn't Mention the "Morocco Removed Ukraine" News. I Actually Put that It is Debated that Ukraine is in or not.
2. The Source That WhatGuy is talking about Is Entirely in Portuguese.. And I don't Speak that.
3. The Whole "Biased" Thing is Still True. Again. If you want Examples. Tell me.
Lastly. The Last Sentence Also Applies to my points too. Unless there is Confirmation of Ukraine Being In or Not to Be In. It Should Stay as It is.

Now it may sound insane but it is still here now. It is not a lie. Although I don't think it is reliable anyway, but we have to accept that Ukraine is still part of the bid. Is this move suicidal for Spain and Portugal's bid, we can only guess.

I don't see how it's suicidal, most of the EU stands behind Ukraine in the war effort. From reports I've read it's likely to be a one-off game(opening match) or series of games in the group stage that Ukraine is involved. Even if the War is still going on for 7 years (which is highly unlikely) it's unlikely Russia will be involved in Western side of the country where most of the stadiums are. All the 4 countries have a quiet a history together and will gather quiet a bit of sympathy votes for Ukraine and Morocco, and it makes sense logically and logistically. It would only be "Suicidal" for a small group of countries that are sympathetic to or potentially sympathetic to Russia, (Belarus? Iran? China? North Korea? India? Brazil?). If anything Ukraine (and Morocco) gets the bid to the finish line, because of Canada, US, and Japan's support for Ukraine.

68.189.2.14. You Put It Amazingly. I At First thought it would be A Problem Put Looking At it this way makes sense. Also the FRMF (Morocco) Apparently Said Ukraine isn't in the Bid Despite Portugal Insisting Ukraine is Still in And the Fact there is No Evidence that the FRMF Ever Said that.

Ok is Ukraine In the Bid Or Not? Make Up your Mind.
Ok. Is Ukraine in the Bid or Not? Portugal said Ukraine is. Morocco said they aren't. I Think A Might Got A Answer. Ukraine is Probably in the Bid. But If the War Continues to A Eventual Time Period. Ukraine will probably withdraw from the Bid. But At the end of the day. It's your decision. Is Ukraine in the bid or Not?
