Not sure if it was the whole U.S. leg of the Queen “Jazz Tour”, but, he was the opening act at the December 16,1978 performance at the Oakland Coliseum in California. ( On a more notorious note, the audience gave him a lukewarm reception, jeered, booed, and caused Moon Martin to have a meltdown. He charged the edge of the stage - after his set was finished - toward some specific hecklers, mic still on, and threatened to “kick their asses”.
