The French were expelled in 1763. So there is no way that Monoquet was a figure in dealing with the French. During his lifetime the forces involved were the British, the Americans and maybe the Spanish. We need to reconsider the opening to reflect the reality for Monoquet possibly with sources actually about what he did in the 1790s. John Pack Lambert ( talk) 11:24, 17 June 2024 (UTC) reply
